Who Qualifies for Membership
ASAHRS membership is open to licensed healthcare professionals who are committed to responsible practice and continued education in aesthetic medicine and hair restoration.
Applicants are reviewed to ensure alignment with ASAHRS standards of professional conduct, clinical ethics, and educational engagement. Membership is not limited to any single specialty — we welcome physicians from dermatology, plastic surgery, family medicine, internal medicine, and other relevant disciplines.
MD, DO, or equivalent international medical degree with active licensure in their jurisdiction of practice.
Medical practices, aesthetic clinics, and hair restoration centers with physician-led oversight and a commitment to educational standards.
Nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and registered nurses practicing within physician-supervised aesthetic settings may apply for Associate membership.
Healthcare professionals licensed outside the United States are welcome to apply. Eligibility is assessed based on equivalent credentials and professional standing.

Complete the online application form with your professional credentials, licensure information, and a brief statement of your practice focus and educational interests.
The ASAHRS membership committee reviews your application to confirm professional eligibility and alignment with society standards. Most applications are reviewed within 5–7 business days.
Upon approval, you receive your membership confirmation, digital certificate, and access credentials for the member portal, resource library, and educational programs.
